Growing
up in Minsk, and then living in Jerusalem, then Moscow and now finally
Toronto, Dima has had a fairly adventurous background. Dima
received a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts from the Academy of
Music, in Jerusalem in 1995. While there, he wrote many compositions and
arrangements. From
1995 to 1998, Dima was Music Producer/Recording Engineer in the offices
of Ekort
Records, LTD,
in Moscow, where he produced and recorded independent artists. In 1998, he began to work as Senior Recording Engineer/Producer at Jerusalem recording studio. As a drummer and keyboardist he performed with a variety of different groups, artists and producers. He also spent much of his time teaching both instruments. Dima
moved to Toronto in 2003. In the winter of 2003 he was invited to perform
in the
Festival of Sacred Music, House of World Cultures in Berlin.
Dima has worked and collaborated with a wide variety of Canadian artists and groups including Susan Cogan (British
Columbia) –“ The Merciful Moon”, CD released in Canada and Europe;
Fran Avni(Montreal); “Universal
Honey”-Canadian band from Toronto; Slava Isakov; Elliot Sairan –
Vyner Road Studios, Toronto; Stephaun Alexander, Jen Rego, Miles Peart,
“Phylo”; Paul Brosseau (saltspring island, BC). Most
recently he has completed the programming for
the International Tribute to India,
"Bharati show-”, in Bombay. The show will be staged at
various venues across the world. |

lives in Toronto, Canada and works as freelance producer/engineer and
musician. Dima’s
knowledge of music together with his extensive studio experience makes
